Raised Garden Beds

George makes 2 different types of raised beds. One is out of 2" x 12" pressure treated wood. He makes these 4' x 8'. He uses a 2" x 2" stake in the corners and screws the boards to the wood stake. He also makes raised beds out of white cedar 5/4 decking. These are usually 3' x 6' (because of the length of the boards he buys locally.) They are 3 boards high. He stabilized these beds with extra boards that the slats are screwed into, besides the 2" x 2" corner pieces.

White Cedar Top for Outdoor Table

Our friend, Bev, has an outdoor table that used to have a glass top.  He cut an exterior plywood top and put it inside the frame, after painting the wood.  Then he built a white cedar top that rests on the table.  (Stained with Super Deck - Cedar color.)  He just finished staining the top.  This top will just rest over the table & frame.  It can be taken off and stored during winter weather.

Since this table will be under a gazebo, it didn't need an umbrella hole.

NEW!!! Garden Tool Rack

George designed a new "Garden Tool Rack".  It is made of white cedar and is stained with "Superdeck."  It has places for large tools - like shovels & rakes with long handles.  It has pegs to put gloves on.  It has a place to put tools with large handles, like pruning sheers.  Check out the pictures he took of it below:
