STEDI Meeting in Yelm Today

George attends STEDI meetings once a month.  Every month they're held in a different city.  (Yelm, Bucoda, Tenino, Rainier and Rochester.)  They rotate and attend the morning meetings in restaurants in these local areas.

South Thurston Economic Development Initiative (STEDI) monthly meeting.  Learning about Thurston Regional Planning Council (TRPC) services and resources availble to help the STEDI Communities.  Great presentation by Katrina Van Every.  TRPC has been serving the area for 50 years.  If you haven't been to their website, check it out at:  http://www.trpc.org.

Below is a picture of today's meeting.  George is on the front, right hand side, with Shauna Stewart, Lne Critchfield, Alan Vanell, Joyce Worrell and Linda Patnude Gotovac  at Mr. Doug's Restaurant:

Rainier Round-up Days Photos by Rory Sagner

Rory Sagner took the photos below during Rainier Round-up Days.  The had the booth right next to us with pictures of her photography.  She has some beautiful photos that are on metal.  The depth and color of here photography is amazing.  I particularly liked a photo she took of Manke Road in the snow.  When I asked about it, she said it won several awards.  Stunning.

This is a picture of the front of our booth, with our friends visiting us:

Left to right:  Marie, Wil, Carol, Linda & Teri

There is a candid shot of Linda and another shot of the signs we sell.

GRAND OPENING: Viva Designs Ink

Our wood signs are very popular, so we created an Etsy store, "Viva Designs Ink," to sell the digital versions of our signs. These are "Printable Posters." We have inspirational & motivational printables, as well as fun posters, like our "Redneck Peace Sign" or "Right to Arm Bears."

Learning how to "Etsy" quite a learning process.  As we grow into Etsy, we'll be adding new signs to our store, so check in on a regular basis to see what's new!

We have a special coupon for our Grand Opening, which will give you 50% off of any item in our store.

Please use our "Grand Opening Coupon" to get 50% off of your order.  The coupon is valid through July 8, 2017.

Right now we have over 60 items in our store, including a sign we designed  for Deni at the Tenino Time Machine called "The Heartbeat of a Seahawks Fan".  We also designed an "Aw...Snap" sign for our granddaughter, Alex.

We will be offering custom made signs in the future.
If there's something you'd like us to make for you, just contact us at:  tipsooloopy@fairpoint.net or lgjohnson@fairpoint.net, so we can design it for you.

Special Order Items

George makes special order items for his customers.  If you have any item you need for him to make, please feel free to contact him.  Below are pictures of items he's made for a special couple who lives nearby.  Roy & Barbara.  It's always a treat to go to their house & see their beautiful yard.

George made the benches, 2 planters on top, as well
as the arbor and planters on either side of the arbor.

Closeup of the arbor and 2 planters.

The arbor is centered and sitting at an angle towards the walkway.

George made this bench & 2 planters (Match the other set on the other side of the house.)

My George, working & planning their next project.

My busy guy...

This is a raised garden bed George made for Barbara & Roy.
Their plants are growing better than ours.
George calls our veggie garden the "Bonsi Garden,"
because the plants are stunted due to cool weather.
