Today we finished the six sided "Wrap Around Tree Bench" that we made for a business in town.  It's taken quite awhile to cut, put together and stain, as this is our first one.

Cedar Bridge with Wood Railes

George now makes six foot cedar bridges with wood rails.

George's large, round wishing well has several unique features.  You'll see in the pictures below that he makes little buckets out of wood to put flowers in.

Glenn's Steam Train on a wooden trestle. (Prototype, not for sale.)  You can see this at Storage Auction Liquidators in downtown Rainier, WA.

On the right hand side are 3 different steam train locomotive squirrel feeders.  Glenn designed them for easy opening and cleaning.  They are his unique, protected design.  He's been making them for over 20 years.

George found a new place, closer to home to purchase lumber for his planters and projects.  Mill Outlet Lumber is a thriving business in Tacoma, next to Gray Lumber on South Tyler.

White Cedar Planters FOR SALE:

George has handcrafted several cedar planters. Some are out of old cedar, but most are out of new, white cedar decking. They come in various sizes and styles. All sizes listed are approximate, as they are all are "one of a kind" and unique. So start your Christmas shopping early, for the gardener in your family. 

Planters are listed in the order the pictures were uploaded to Craigslist.....

1. DIVIDED BERRY PLANTER: $30.00. The first picture is of what looks like a berry carrier. It has a wooden handle, bottom and sides. There are Plexiglas dividers, with 6 different areas for herbs, greens, flowers, or plants of your choice. Measurements are 15" Long x 10" Deep x 13" High 

2. RUSTIC BARN WOOD BIRDHOUSE: $20.00 This is a unique, one of a kind bird house that is made of old barn wood & has 2 knot holes for openings. I don't know the exact measurements.

3. SMALL SQUARE PLANTER: $12.00 (Includes plastic liner pot.) This is made of white decking cedar. It measures 10 1/2" square.

4. 1/2 ROUND WALL PLANTER: $20.00 This has a wooden bottom. This is made of white decking cedar. It measures 14" wide x 9" deep & 16" high.

5. CEDAR & BARN WOOD PLANTERS: $25.00 each. There are two of these planters that are made with white cedar trim and old barn wood sides. They each come plastic plant liner pots. They measure 15" long x 7 3/4" deep x 5 3/4 high. 

6. LARGE CORNER TIERED PLANTER: $45.00 This planter has a wooden bottom. This is made of white decking cedar. It measures 35" wide x 24" deep & 11" high. 

7. MASON JAR PLANTERS: $15.00 each. There are two. One pint, one quart. Both are made with old barn wood. The measurements are approximate. The sizes are 13" high x 6 3/4" wide.

8. WOODEN BASKET: $25.00. This planter has a wooden bottom. This is made of white decking cedar. It measures 13" high x 12" diameter. 

9. SIX SIDED PLANTER: $20.00 This is made of white decking cedar & has a wooden bottom, without a liner. It measures 6 3/4" high x 14" diameter.

10. WALL MOUNT CEDAR HERB PLANTER: $15.00 (Includes plastic liner pot.) This is made of white decking cedar. It measures 15" wide x 8" deep & 10" high. 

11.  ROUND PLANTER (lined)   $20.00 This is made of white decking cedar & has a wooden bottom, without a liner. It measures 7" high x 14" diameter.

12. NATIVITY PLANTER (Unlined): $25.00 This is made of white decking cedar. It measures 17" wide x 14" deep x 11" high. (There are 2 pictures of this planter, so you can get a clear idea of what it looks like. This is a one of a kind planter.)

12. SQUARE CEDAR PLANTER (Lined): $15.00 (Includes plastic liner pot.) This is made of white decking cedar. It measures 7 1/2" high x 11 1/4" square.

13.DOUBLE CEDAR PLANTER (Lined with 2 pots): $25.00 (Includes 2 square plastic liner pots.) This is made of white decking cedar. It measures 20 1/2" wide x 11 1/4" deep & 7 1/2" high. 

These planters can last a lifetime, if they are re-sealed on a regular basis. If they are used outside, they should be re-sealed on yearly & stored before bad weather sets in. Or you can leave them outside all year around for a weathered look. 

I have several planters in some styles (like the last two planters) Others, there are just a few planters on hand. The prices are suggested. (OBO)

Herb - vertical wall mounted three tiered planters

George has 2 - new 3-tiered herb/garden planters for sale.  The cedar planter on the left comes with the pot included.  The planter on the right can hold pint mason jars, or be lined and planted as is.

Left planter measurements: 49 1/4" high - each planter section is 15" w x 8 1/2" long by 5" deep 

Right planter measurements:  47 3/4" high - each planter section is 12 1/4" wide x 6 1/2" long and 5" deep (at the deepest part.  The front is slightly tapered.)
